What is Foreign Currency?
Foreign currency is also known as foreign banknotes or cash. Foreign currency is often used when customers go on travel to foreign countries.
What is a Foreign Cheque/Draft?
A foreign cheque is a cheque issued in a foreign currency by a foreign or domestic bank.
How long does it take a FX Notes order to reach the branch?
Most orders can be fulfilled within 1-2 business days. Delivery timelines can vary according to location and availability of foreign notes. Expedited shipping is also available.
What time will the order arrive?
Deliveries usually occur before 3pm local time. FedEx does not setup specific delivery times.
Can I place an order on Saturday for Foreign Currency?
Orders can be placed on non-business days. Please note that the rate shown on the system will be honoured and the order will be fulfilled the next business day.
Can my order be picked up on Saturdays?
While orders can be placed on weekends, they cannot be picked up by the courier on weekends. Note that only a few select postal codes offer Saturday pickups.
For home delivery, what happens if courier delivered package to the wrong address and someone signs for it?
The courier will be instructed to deliver the package to the address that was entered into the system by the branch staff. If the courier was to make an error and not deliver to the address stated on the package, then EBC should be notified immediately. Refer to PaymentStreamTM Manual for contact information. Once contacted, EBC would then open an investigation with the courier. However, in this instance the customer won’t have to wait until the investigation is completed. EBC would ship a replacement order immediately with overnight delivery.
